Field Day at Ve6fi 2008
We actually ran two stations. We had around 1300 contacts with people across North America. The band conditions were fairly good, however, we are at the bottom of the sun spot cycle so there was no activity on 10 meters and just a bit on 15 meters. We mainly operated on 40 and 20 meters.
We used emergency generators, an outdoor setting and connected into our existing antennas. Operators were Evan Ve6fi, Denis Ve6aq, Maurice Va6maa, Lloyd Ve6xl, Dave Ve6kd.
Both Field Day and the BBQ were a success in perfect weather.
