Christmas Brunch 2008

The club held the Christmas Brunch brunch on December 13 at ABC country restaurant on King George Hwy and 74 Ave. 27 (members and friends from Langley Club) people attended this function. President Mike Plant VE7AT gave a welcome speech and a brief report on the latest situation of the club's repeater. Al Munnik VE7RMP - president of the Langley Club- also gave us a short speech, and wishing everyone had a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
During the brunch, there were door prize and 50/50 drawings, and the SARC Amateur Radio Operator Of The Year award was won by John Brodie VA7XB.
Everyone enjoyed the nice food and had a good time that morning.
The SARC thanks Burnaby Radio Communications Inc for their gift certificates.
