R.I. Popke Jeltes. Born ca 1665. In 1721 (the year the church records begin in Hornhuizen) he appears in the lidmaten (members) list as ouderling.
Children by an unknown wife:
  1. Jelte Popkes. See R.II.1 Born ca 1690. Married with Lijsabeth Tjapkes.
  2. (possibly) Anje Popkes. See R.II.2. Married Hornhuizen 11.11.1725 with Pieter Clasen.
  3. (possibly) Lubge Popkes. See R.II.3. Married Saaxumhuizen 2.11.1727 with Lammert Heres.
