Summer 2002 - Skipper of 36' motor sailboat from Victoria to West Coast Vancouver Island and back. Summer 2001 - Skipper of 36' motor sailboat from Victoria to the North Coast and back. Summer 2000 - Single handed circumnavigation of Vancouver Island in a 36' motor sailboat. Summer 1999 - Skipper of 36' motor sailboat from Victoria to Barkley Sound and back. Summer 1998 - Skipper of 36' motor sailboat from Victoria to Desolation Sound and back. Fall 1997 - Skipper of 33' sailboat from Port Angeles to San Francisco. Off shore, non stop from Neah Bay to Drake Harbour. 1989 - 1998 - Fairwinds Sailing Association. Responsibilities as Vice-commodore: on the water instruction in basic sailing and navigation skills; member checkout to skipper status for Cal 20, C&C 27, and Aloha 28 sailboats. 15 Years - Cruising in the Greater Victoria, Gulf and San Juan Islands area's.
