Of Colour, Ping Pong & Descrambling
Took this Color Quiz as a lark (since I do love personality tests) and was quite surprised by the apparent accuracy of my results:
Also found this link to Human Ping Pong... Matrix style, i.e. What would ping pong look like if it were played in the Matrix movie, stop-action style? This is one very funny video that proves that there's more than what first meets the eye.
Another find: this fun and addictive Word Descrambler game. (As if I needed more sites on the internet to squander my time. Sheesh.) I particularly enjoy challenging "Eugene." Just watch out if you don't answer his questions right when he "invites" you for a talk in the bathroom. Once you're punched by his pal, typing becomes a bit of a challenge in the next round. Oh, and is it just me, or do the "word scores" seem kinda random and maybe a little biased? By the way, my top score so far is 7,295 (Jan. 22 update: 8,335... and I beat Eugene!). Have fun!
P.S. If you need a little help to beat Eugene, you can always cheat a little by using the anagram search at One Across, a crossword puzzle helper site.
Your Existing Situation
Acts in an orderly, methodical, and self-contained manner. Needs the sympathetic understanding of someone who will give her recognition and approval.
Your Stress Sources
Has an unsatisfied need to ally herself with others whose standards are as high as her own, and to stand out from the herd. This desire for preeminence isolates her and inhibits her readiness to give herself freely. While she wants to surrender and let herself go, she regards this as a weakness which must be resisted. This self-restraint, she feels, will lift her above the rank and file and ensure recognition as a unique and distinctive personality.
Your Restrained Characteristics
Willing to participate and to allow herself to become involved, but tries to fend off conflict and disturbance in order to reduce tension. Circumstances are restrictive and hampering, forcing her to forgo all joys and pleasures for the time being. Clings to her belief that her hopes and ideas are realistic, but needs encouragement and reassurance. Applies very exacting standards to her choice of a partner and wants guarantees against loss or disappointment.
Your Desired Objective
Longs for a tender and sympathetic bond and for a situation of idealized harmony. Has an imperative need for tenderness and affection. Susceptible to anything esthetic.
Your Actual Problem
Greatly impressed by the unique, by originality, and by individuals of outstanding characteristics. Tries to emulate the characteristics she admires and to display originality in her own personality.
