Limes with Orange

Terry aka Lattégirl tagged me for a meme. I am required to list five things I can call an obsession and then tag five people to do the same. (I may skip the tagging this time around, because I had limited response with my last round of tagging... and two of the people that I tagged last time have already done this one!)

You have to wonder if there's something wrong with you when someone asks you to list five things you can admit to being obsessed with and your first reaction is, "only five?" But here are the five I settled on:

1. Battlestar Galactica (Just check out my growing list of BSG posts!)

2. Filmmaking (In the past year, I've shot three short films, completed post-production on one of them, and started the script for a feature. I'm taking a long format Screenwriting course this year with the intention of finishing the screenplay for the feature. Check out my Film Blog for sporadic updates on this obsession of mine. Did ya like the subtle plug for my other blog?)

3. Blistex (Must.Have.Soft.Lips.)

4. Counting (I don't know if this is some mild OCD thing or just a math geek thing, but I count everything, all the time, sometimes just to kill time. Sometimes I don't even realize that I'm counting until someone asks me what I'm counting.)

5. Jake Gyllenhaal (Yep, my name is Weirdgrrl and I'm a Gyllenhaalic... not just Jake either; I want Maggie, his sister, to star in the feature that I'm writing. Just gotta get the script finished before she stops making the low-low budget stuff.)

You know what, I'm gonna try an "open tag"... meaning that anyone who reads this post should feel free to list their five obsessions in the comments or post them on their blog and put a link in the comments. Let's see if anyone actually does this. Hmmm...
