This policy covers all programs, activities, workshops and events offered by Edmonton Seniors Centre.
Edmonton Seniors Centre, staff, instructors and volunteers cannot be held liable for any physical injuries incurred during any of its programs.
- Members registered for programs will be given priority over non-members, reciprocal members and associate members.
- All non-members will be charged an additional fee of $15 per program.
- Associate members are those persons under the age of 45.
- Reciprocal members are those with a current membership at one of our Counterpart Centers.
- Registration will take place in the main office.
- Programs must have a minimum number of participants required to proceed.
- Non-payment of fees will result in non-participation in the program.
- Participants are not fully registered until the program fees have been paid.
- Full registration including payment or arrangement for payment must be completed prior to the start of the program.
- Program cancellation will be determined not less than one week prior to the proposed start date of the program.
- Late registration will be allowed ONLY if space permits. Payment will be due in full at that time.
- Drop-in participants are required to register for programs at the main desk and pay at the beginning of each class. Drop-in fees (member rates and non-member rates) apply. Drop-ins are only permitted if space allows.
- Cash or cheque only. Receipts will be issued for program registration. They are not tax deductible.
- Financial assistance may be available in certain circumstances. Please discuss with Loretta or Ursula.
- We would appreciate notification if you are withdrawing from a program so as to spare us any undue concern.
No program fees will be refunded unless the program is cancelled by Edmonton Seniors Centre. Please call the centre at (780)482-8625 for further information.
