Chapter Activities

Wild Rose organizes monthly training days, from April to August, held in a central Alberta location. Club training days support and reinforce the ongoing training members undertake individually and are not intended as a substitute for continual training in obedience and hunting skills at home. Club training days enable members to work with live birds and exchange training tips and information with other members.
Spectators are welcome. All participants are expected to adhere to the Training Day Guidelines.

Test entries are not secured until payment has been received. Once the test is full subsequent entrants will be placed on a waiting list in case of cancellation. More information is available in the 2009 Test Information Package. The test entry form is a downloadable PDF.

Non-Chapter Events of Interest

The Calgary Pointing Dog Club is offering Ronnie Smith Training Seminars in Sylvan Lake in the early fall. Foundation level is Sept 4-6, 2009 and Intermediate level is Sept 10 - 13, 2009. For more information, visit the Calgary Pointing Dog Club website.
