I acknowledge that participation in a Road Trial involves inherent risks of death, injury and/or damage to me, to my dog(s), horse(s) and to my property. I acknowledge that in a Road Trial, inherent hazards and risks exist, as it is typical that dogs and horses unknown to each other and to other persons may be permitted to work together in close proximity. I also acknowledge that inherent hazards and risks exist as it is typical that horseback riders, officials, volunteers, veterinary personnel, spectators and other persons having a need to be present at the Road Trial may be in close proximity to, or may handle dog(s) and/or horse(s) unknown to them. Knowing these facts, nevertheless, in consideration for acceptance of my entry, hereby for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, I waive, release, discharge and hold harmless the American Kennel Club, Inc., the Dalmatian Club of America, Inc., and any and all host clubs, organizations, and associations, its directors, officers, and all individual members, and all other persons and/or organizations in any connected with this event, their representatives, heirs, executors, administrators, employees and/or assignees for any and all right, claim or liability for damages and/or injuries, fatal or otherwise, that might be sustained by me, my dog(s), horse(s) or property, an/or from any claims of any kind or nature that I might have as a result of, or arising out of my participation in his event. Further, I do hereby acknowledge that this release will extend to accidents, damages or claims arising out of my voluntary participation, caused by my own acts, or omissions thereof, or the acts of anyone or any animal within my control. I further agree that I will defend, indemnify and hold harmless the American Kennel Club, Inc., the Dalmatian Club of America, Inc., and any and all host clubs, organizations, and associations, its directors, officers, and all individual members, and all other persons and/or organizations in any connected with this event, their representatives, heirs, executors, administrators, employees and/or assignees against all claims, demands, or causes of action, including court costs and attorneys' fees, directly or indirectly arising from any action, or other proceeding brought by or prosecuted for my benefit contrary to this release, extended to all claims of every kind and nature whatsoever, whether known or unknown.

I also acknowledge and accept responsibility for and agree to pay replacement costs for any damage(s), or loss of property, that is owned or under the direct care and custody of American Kennel Club, Inc., the Dalmatian Club of America, Inc., and any and all host clubs, organizations, and associations, its directors, officers, and all individual members, and all other persons and/or organizations in any connected with this event, their representatives, heirs, executors, administrators, employees and/or assignees, that I, my dog(s), and/or dogs(s) under my custody and responsibility, proximately caused, incident to my participation in this event.

I attest that no oral representations, statement, or inducements apart from the foregoing written agreement have been made.

I give consent to whatever medical care might be provided or available on the premises should I incur bodily injury.

I agree to use whatever safety equipment and procedures that are required per the Road Trial Regulations and as deemed appropriate by the Road Trial Committee.

I acknowledge that I have read, understand and voluntarily agree to the foregoing provisions.
