Youth Ministry. (Kevan Hayes - Ecumenical Youth Leader)

Youth Groups from St. Helen's Anglican Church, WPG Presbyterian Church and WPG United Church will meet in each church building in rotation, or elsewhere according to the planned activities.

The Senior Youth Group (Grades 8 and up)
 

The Junior Youth Group (Ages 10 - 12)

We welcome our new Ecumenical Youth Leader - Kevin Hayes.

Biography - Kevin P. Hayes husband of Mindy R. Carter and proud father of Harrison Howard Carter- Hayes age 11 months has studied theology with Dr. Paul Allen at Concordia University in Montreal and holds a degree in community planning and is currently working as a CA in community planning at Acadia Park on the UBC family housing campus. Kevin has spent the last year at WPGP church as the Sunday school teacher thoroughly enjoying the children and the congregation. Kevin is also currently teaching for the AMS of UBC, youth guitar, and has just finished hosting the “guitar and drum camp” at the Old Barn Community Center as well as contributing at the WPGP church’s summer bible camp program. As a music specialist for the Protestant School Board of Montreal, Kevin has spent years teaching grades K-6 and taught at Apollo College both youth and international students. During their honeymoon Kevin and Mindy spent it walking the road to Santiago in the Pyrenees Mountains of Spain, on their spiritual pilgrimage. Kevin and Mindy will be sharing their experience with the youth, both junior and senior this year and are looking forward to adding to their faith journeys with them and the three congregations. May the love of God be with all of us.

WPG YOUTH NEWS.

Ecumenical Youth Group WPG Youth from St. Helen's, WPG Presbyterian and WPG United Senior Youth meet this Sunday, Sept. 13 at St. Helen's at 6pm.
Wednesday, September 16 all youth meet at WPG United at 7pm for a covenanting service for Kevin Hayes, Youth Leader.
Sunday, September 20 Senior Youth  meet at WPG United at 6pm.
Junior Youth Meet Wednesday, September 23 at WPG United at 4:45 to 6pm.
Registration forms are available in the church office.
