Activities Schedule
Schedule of Events for November 22 - 29.
AWE (alternate worship experience) - on the 1st Friday of the month, we would like to try an experiment in community and worship. Recognizing that the Sunday morning service is sometimes difficult for people to attend due to other commitments, we would like to invite those in the church and wider community who are interested to gather for a simple meal from 5:30pm - 6:30pm (with free-will offering to cover costs) followed by a 30-45 minute contemporary worship for all ages or you can just come for the contemporary worship at 6:30pm. The second AWE night will take place on Friday, November 6 and the third evening - December 4. If you are interested in helping to plan this kind of service, please contact Rev. Val Taylor.

Prayer Circle: the Pastoral Care Committee plans to form an intentional prayer circle. This would include people who have or who would like to develop, an individual daily prayer practise. Its purpose would be to respond to particular prayer requests over a period of time so that people in need might have the comfort of knowing that others were prayerfully walking with them during a stressful time. If you would be interested in learning more about this group, please contact Jan Tennant at coffee time, or please call the office. There will be an informal gathering to plan and discuss this very important new ministry. In the meantime, if you have prayer requests, forms may be found on the table at the entrance to the church and in the pews. Once filled out, they may be deposited in the specially marked boxes at the church entrance, or in the gym during coffee time.
