| "Mainland Modular Railway Society" | ||
| CONSTITUTION | ||
| 1. | The name of the society is the "Mainland Modular Railway Society" | |
| 2. | The purposes of the society are: | |
| a) | to provide a venue where those interested in scale model railroading can share with and assist others in the purposes, aims, knowledge and techniques of the hobby through clinics and open discussion; | |
| b) | to promote the hobby of scale model railroading in the community by means of exhibiting a modular railway display; | |
| c) | to build a showcase modular railway display and operate it in a prototypical manner. | |
| 3. | The activities of the society are not to be conducted for the purpose of profit or gain and any funds derived therefrom shall be used solely to promote the purposes of the society. No ownership or rights in the assets of the society shall vest in any proprietor, member, director, officer or shareholder. | |
| This provision is unalterable. | ||
| 4. | Upon a winding up or dissolution of the society, any assets of the society remaining after the satisfaction of its debts and liabilities shall be transferred or given to an organization concerned with or promoting the same as this society as may be determined by the members of the Mainland Modular Railway Society at the time of winding-up or dissolution. | |
