UBC System 7 Napolenics Rules

These are the UBC System 7 Napoleonics Rules. They are developed from the Game Designers' Workshop System 7: Rules Booklet, Copyright 1978, Game Designers' Workshop. Changes and expansions Copyright 198x, 199x, 2000 Bill Dixon for the UBC Group. Modification, interpretation and expansion by the U.B.C. Group.

Rule 13: Stacking

Addition

Counters may . . . Local convention for columns is that the top front counter is the counter leading the column and the top rear counter is the last counter in the column. For example a French 6 company unit could be on the table top as follows: (note we have ignored the fact that the light counter would usually be detached as skirmishers).

B. Artillery:

Addition

Local convention does not use limber counters, instead the gun is unlimbered when the gun counter is on top of or in front of the crew counter and they are limbered when the crew is on top of the gun.

C. Generals:

Addition

. . .stacked with the unit (on the unit), or in the square formed by the unit, or in the same building with the unit. If there are two or more units in a building with a general or aide, put the counter on top of one of the units.
