it is rare that i can become immersed in a book, or movie. It has been a blessing, & a curse that i found Pride & Prejudice. I love the story, but find it difficult to concentrate on other interests.

The movie and book Pride and Prejudice are my absolute favorites. Never have I seen a better adaptation of the novel than in the A&E/BBC production. Each time I watch the movie (which I have owned for one year), I find something new that makes me love it even more. I absolutely adore you!! I want to be just like you and I want to marry someone related to Mr. Darcy. I regularly practice my British accent on account of this production. I'm naming my first child Elizabeth Darcy. I could go on and on about this movie, but I must quit now. I need to go watch it.

Miss Bingley's comments were decidely mean spirited. Mr. Darcy's forbearance was wonderful! Seriously, even my teenage son found the dialogue interesting. Jane Austin is at her finest in Pride and Prejudice. This was a suberb adaptation of the book. This website is wonderful. I visit it often looking for the updates. I have watched and read this story so many times, I am beginning to speak as they do. Does this mean I need help?
