Never before in my 40 years has a story moved me so deeply. Nor has a story ever before left me with a sense of unrequited connection to another life. I thank whom ever is responsible for the reproduction of an era I am deeply devoted to and wish was still here.

Oh Mr. Darcy! How often in my reveries have I longed to console you. I do not in what way it would be possible for you to further win my affections. There is no more perfectly angst-ridden and satisfyingly triumphant romance than one with such as yourself could provide. (deep sigh). If I were at all prone to living in nostalgic memories of times I have not personally experienced I would dote on such possibilities each day. Fortuneately I have much more of Elizibeth's good sense than that. Alas, however, that such honorable and attractive men (cutting such fine figures in the most sexy--I mean, the most delightful of clothes) have vanished into the realm of imagination, to be vainly sought on modern technilogically constructed web sites. Mmmmmm. That lake looks sooooo inviting. Care for a swim? ;)

Dear Georgianna,have you grown since the spring??Are you as tall as me??Ha,ha... If Georgianna wasen't Darcy's sister,I think they would be a great couple too.Does anyone have any sound wavs of either dialogue or the song that Elizabeth sings at the piano? I think you should add a P&P quiz!!!!!!!!!!

I love this site, it's my favorite. Pride and Prejudice is my all time favorite movie. Jane Austen is brilliant! Sense and Sensibility is also great but there is no cmparison to this production. I am a die hard Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle fan (love Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy). Anyway your page is great! Its good to know im not the only obessed one! Thanks, Kristen Richmond, VA

There is nothing like P&P in the whole world!

I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed watching and re-watching this wonderful mini-series. I cannot specify one part over another as my favorite, as the entire production was beautifully presented. In this time of rushing, rushing, and more rushing, it is so refreshing to be transported to another place and time when life was much quieter and ever so much slower. My congratulations to the entire cast and production crew for what surely is one of the milestones in miniseries presentations. Thanks also to A&E for making it available for purchase.

O.K, I've just read all the messages in this guest book. It makes me feel better to know that I'm not the only one who's gone ga-ga over it. I think it was absolutely wonderful the way Mr. Darcy treats his sister. To all the P&P lovers out there, u aren't alone.

I love your page!!!!!!! I am one of those people who's gone crazy about P&P. I've just recently read it for English and saw the movie. Your hints on how to get over "Darcymania" sound very helpful. I think I'll try some of the things. I'm looking forward to seeing your page when it is finished.

This site is wonderful. I was wondering if other Pride and Prejudice addicts out there could tell me the name of the dance that Lizzy and Darcy dance together (It also features in the movie version of Emma)? I would be excessively grateful to anyone who could help.

So glad to see that I'm not the only one who has gone ga-ga over Elizabeth, Darcy and the gang. My children and husband DO NOT understand my obsession with P&P. I taped the program from A&E and have watched it again and again. And I've loaned my tape to four friends, but was anxious they might lose it. My husband has bought all the Jane Austen videos for me: Emma, Sense & Sensibility, Persuasion, but P&P is still my favorite.

I was delighted to find Pride and Prejudice and look forward to becoming more acquainted with Pride and rejudice and Jane Austin. I have only recently entered Pemberly.
