I was introduced to P&P while I was at college. Since I have graduated, I have brought my love of it back to Oregon. I hold P&P parties so that I may introduce it to my friends. I am bound and determined to make all of my aquaintences P&P lovers. P&P is my favorite movie, at this time in my life! One of my goals is to own a dress from the time period from which P&P is set. If anyone is searching this website that has not yet seen P&P, I strongly suggest that you do so!! It's the BEST!!!

I was pining the loss of Miss Eliza Bennet's pert opinions and fine eyes when I discovered your site, and now I visit it daily. It is such a comfort knowing that I am not alone in my love for Pride and Prejudice!

Love this site! Love P&P! I've only read the book 3 times, but I'm sure I can read it some more. Just got the video set. Love it! I'm in the encouraging-every-member-of-my-family-to-see-it-just-so-i-can-see-it-with-them-again-and-again stage. Oh, to have been an extra in the filming! I'd jump into the tv screen if I could. Can't wait to get the soundtrack. Just wanted to say your "toomuch" page is hilarious yet vaguely familiar :) I'm afraid I can't wait to see the movie again just to watch for each of the things in your "notice" page. I never knew there were so many fans of P&P! My husband thinks I'm quite insane- because I can relate to many items under on the "Signs" list. How many people watched the "The English Patient" movie, and was sympathetic towards Colin Firth, not Ralph Fiennes? I was diverted by his "fine eyes!"

I enjoyed your website and am looking forward to all the sections you have planned being completed. It would be nice to have Biographies/Filmographies of each of the principal cast members. For instance, it's difficult to recognize Jennifer Ehle or Colin Firth with their hair colored differently for their roles. I was exceptionally diverted by all of the things to see on your site. I find myself trying to figure out how many costumes Elizabeth had in total and how many times a particular dress is duplicated. It's all very vexing, you know. I imagine I would be described as an addict-to-be when it comes to Jane Austin - I find my mind wandering and being invaded by words like thither, barouche box, and condescension. I have reread all of Jane Austin, am working my way thru the sequels, the fictional detective series, and reading biographies too! It is distressing, indeed, that Jane did not write but the few books that we have to ponder.

I bought Pride and Prejudice for my fiancee for Valentine's Day, not knowing what I was getting into. She had told me that she loved it and I figured I would get her it as a nice surprise for her. Well this last weekend, I was visiting her and I watched it. It was amazing, I had never thought I would even like it. Since seeing it I am constantly thinking of how lovely and wonderful the whole story was. I began reading the book yesterday and am over half done already. I can not get enough Pride and Prejudice. I can not wait to visit her again in two weekends and watch it again. It is the most enchanting and romantic film I have ever seen. Definitely my favorite of all time. Hard to believe is it not. I saw the first part of P&P for the first time last month on A&E. Unfortunately, I missed the conclusion and since then I have been trying to find out when it will be shown on TV again - without success. I've also looked for videotapes but couldn't find the complete P&P movie. I finally bought the book and am enjoying it very much. Does anybody know when A&E will air P&P again?
