Miss Bingley declares I address you much too formally in written correspondance, considering we are brother and sister. Lizzy and I hope your business is going well and that you will return to Pemberley soon. Lizzy asks that you would please purchase the new music that we have ordered in Lambton. We do so hate to bother you with such trifles, but after all, it is only 5 miles away from Pemberley. Caroline wishes me to bid you speed on your trip home. She has spent this entire morning pondering your chance meeting long ago with Eliza and the Gardiners. She declares that she would not have thought to visit a stranger's property when the residents were not in attendance. I must say that perhaps Caroline's company is becoming tiresome, and even dear Lizzy seems a bit out of humor. Perhaps your return will mend that. Caroline bids that you are careful on your trip home, and that you make haste. She also wishes you to call on her dear cousin in Lambton on her behalf. I really cannot keep up with this. My head is beginning to ache. Caroline wishes me to stay that my style of writing is remarkably similar to yours. I must end this discourse, as you will be home before I can write down all of Caroline's comments. Godspeed to you, my dear brother, Elizabeth sends her warm regards to her husband.

I do wish the movie wasn't so expensive to buy, however! I have the theme music (Jane Austen's World, that is), would LOVE to find the soundtrack (we live far in the country), and wish we did watch the move more often. Oh well. What a positively WONDERFUL movie!!

Glad to have found your page! Nice to know that I'm not the only one who wouldn't find owning several versions of the this timeless classic a bit odd! I love Greer Garson and Laurence Olivier as well as Elizabeth Garvie and David Rintoul's Lizzy and Darcy, but Jennifer and Colin are my favorites by far.
