After viewing Pride and Prejudice on TV (and recording it on videotape), I took an interest in other Jane Austen novels available on video. I perticularly like Emma, of which I have 2 versions on video. Sense and Sensibility I also found worth the trouble. The differences in the classes, which was so eminent in England, and the struggle of people to overcome them, have been the source for many fine novel, film and TV drama. I just love it !

This is the most wonderful movie I think that I have ever seen. Even my youngest son, now aged 12, and a baseball/soccer jock, loves it and can [and frequently does] quote numerous lines. Can you imagine! His other favorite video pasttimes are playing WarCraft on PC, and watching wrestling, football, and japanese animation on TV...thank heavens for P&P.

no, no, the green one. I am a 15 year old girl and I LOVE P&P. I am obsessed with it and i'm going to watch it every day for the rest of my life!!! (but don't tell my grandma 'cos she wants the videos back) Thank you for your handy hints on conquering 'darcymania' but i still get withdrawal symptoms 'cos my sister stole my much read, loved and battered copy of the book.

My family thinks I'm crazy since I watch P&P whenever I have time. However, I don't care. I'm planning a trip to England in order to view the filming locations as soon as possible. It's quite sad, actually because it is difficult to get hold of P&P stuff in Norway. I would very much like to have contact with other P&p addicts. Please write!!
