Welcome to serendipity. The concept behind this word has been a theme in my life for the past half year, so I've decided to honour it with a website.

I have discovered that interesting and seemingly serendipitous things have a tendency of happening if you allow them to happen. All you have to do is start somplace, actively go somewhere (no sitting around waiting), and open your mind. Opportunities will surface. It sounds strange and whimsical, but it works.

What's with the music theme? Well, after I completed my ARCT in piano performance in 1996, I drifted away from the musical world. I was probably overloaded by the few months of intense practising, as well as the joy of having to complete two theory courses (Analysis 5, History 5) in two months. (Perhaps, the excitement of learning about 20th century trends in music was too much for me. Okay, I admit that I'm not being fair. Some of it was rather interesting.)

I rediscovered music again about a year and a half ago, and have progressed to the point that I will actually open my music history textbook voluntarily.

However, I haven't answered the question yet. I guess I used a music theme because I thought it would be unique. So enjoy!
