Zobeana Baby all started with the goal of finding the cutest little accessories to match my first borns beautiful outfits. With much disappointment in dollar store basics and expensive Childrens store options, I decided to make some perfect-match custom hair accessories.

I have always been a creative person with a rather addictive personality. A bit over the top-you could say, and since I already was an avid crafter-I had loads (understatement of the year) of ribbon, so all I needed was the hardware. The search was on and when I found it, I then was able to create plain clips or fancy bows that stayed in my daughter's fine but curly hair. They were perfect. They even stuck in my thick mop of hair (although a big polka dot bow didn't always work with my business attire-they sure held). My other mommy friends loved them, and were so pleased that I made many for them too. Then with each outing we continued to get oodles of compliments and many "Where did you get those GREAT clips?" So I started to make some for friends of friends, or give my phone number to complete strangers in the doctors office or grocery store so that I could make them their own perfect pairs. My business minded husband told me that If I was going to be spending time doing this then I better do it right. With that, Zo Zo Bean Barrettes were born. The name came from my daughters nick name (which came from a creative aunty who didn't want to call her simply "Zoe"). That business name didn't last long, but the slogan, "The No-Slip, Quick-Grip, Totally-Hip, Hair-Clip" stuck as I hooked up with a very creative Sister(in law-but as close to a real one as I have, also the same creative Aunty for the Zo Zo Bean) who helped me POSH up the name to Zobeana Baby. I had been playing around with making soother clips and we knew if we wanted to appeal to the underated boy market-Zo Zo Bean Barrettes would have to go.

Zobeana Baby was born-and we had amazing response from day one. Our "tester-mommy" friends used many weird clips to see what would work best, or tried many HEAVY bows to see what sizes look the best. We thank each of them for their willingness to buy accessories that weren't perfect yet, or their willingness to plug Zobeana Baby shamelessly to anyone who will listen. Thanks Mommies!

Since the birth of Zobeana baby, we have walked in blessings. Each person who saw a hair clip, paci-sass soother saver, bow, bow holder, mock-bow tie etc. raved about how great they were, and so with rather large heads and calloused fingers we continue to create beautiful handmade accessories/embellishments for your little "beans". Don't get us wrong -sometimes we are jealous of the free time other ladies have-every free second seems to get wrapped up in creating new accessories or keeping up with orders. But we believe in our product and our business. We love doing what we do-knowing our embellishments put smiles on the face of those they see wearing a mini cowboy hat hair clip, or a gigantic Flower band on a new born, or not having to pick that pacifier up off the ground for the 17th time. We know our products help make your little bean stand out from the rest of the pod. We know that because we live it.

This is a family business targeted at reflecting what we love-passion for creating. With each new idea we get excited about where this business is going. By Gods grace and favour have we been able to build a business that we know will last. Thank you for letting us be part of your stores and families.
