Hey folks, no new albums recently (I've mostly been taking pictures of my cat lately, so...) but check out www.momentsthegame.com which is an interesting project I've been working on with my friend Dave Montie. It's a sort of confessional / interpersonal narrative game where people share personal anecdotes that they think will resonate strongly with others.
Photo Albums:
  • Girls of Summer - Julie is lame and doesn't have her own homepage to put her summer frolicking pics on, so I caved under pressure to mercifully host these for her. Rationale:
    1. She's busy w/ kids etc but I'm a hopeless bachelor w/ oceans of time.
    2. At least two of the five people who ever look at my site know Jules & want to see these pictures.
  • Chilliwack River redux - We returned to camp astride the Chilliwack river... in the exact same spot... Hey, it's a great spot! Much leisure was had, many bottles opened.
  • Grouse Grind - Derek just turned 33, so to celebrate (even after a few rowdy rounds of poker the night before at my place) a bunch of us escorted him up the Grind. Oh. My. God. It was SO hard! I swear, it was the hardest thing I've ever done. We crawled up dripping wet logs and rocks for two hours before we finally reached the top. Then we got sloppy at the summit pub and rode the gondola down.
  • The Last BBQ of Summer - We managed to squeeze one more BBQ out of summer and take eating to the next level. I can't believe I ate the whole thing! Much thanks to Ayesha for taking lots of photos as I was too busy hosting and/or being very very drunk; one of the two anyways. Specifics are a little foggy.
  • Poker at Bri's pad. Finally, after getting unruly at Magus' place untold dozens of times, I finally return the favor and host poker. Gosh this championship bracelet always did look good on me...
  • I Quit! - My SPUD sendoff at Bukowskis with pretty much all of my coworkers and even a few expats. Graeme kissed me.
  • Friend's Pets. Awwwwww! Lots of pictures of my own fluffball too. Hey, what are digital cameras for, after all?
  • CUT!! Hollywood North slurps up our own Marc J. Office hijinx will never be the same.
  • Extreme Wipeout starring Laura. Also see her High Speed Pass and Final Approach.
  • A Whistler Christmas - Big sister decided to move to Whistler, so we all converged there for the coolest yule on record! Don't look for me in Vancouver on weekends...
  • Faces of people I know.
  • Bye Bye Jonathan! - Jono is going to Japan. Forever. A round of drinks and heated political debate was in order.
  • Ayesha hones her Python - A gruelling 7-hour session of intense one-on-one instruction. Also we played with the dog a bit. And ate pizza. And drank beer. OK look it wasn't really that gruelling, but it could have been, if AM & Zena weren't SO COOL. There I said it.
  • Dave Montie turns 31
  • Bri's B-day blowout 2004
  • Chilliwack river camping trip 2004
  • Ghetto apartment profile: Steven Wheelahan (Wheels has actually moved to a nicer place now, you'll all be glad to know)
Wed Nov 23 2004 - 3:30am - Ok, it's late, actually it's early, and I can't sleep, so I decided to use these valuable quasi-conscious moments to remedy the fact that geek boy Bri does not have and hasn't had a personal webpage for about oh... five years? It is my firm belief that most folks' personal sites are boring and sucky, so in response I'll keep things as spartan and functional as possible. If you find anything that's not, feel free to accost me via email. Oh, and if I've ever taken a picture(s) you want to see, let me know & I'll slap up a gallery for ya. That is all.
