On February 22, 2006 our Guild was invited to attend the Three Rivers Area regular monthly meeting which happened to fall on Lord Baden-Powell's Birthday. We all enjoyed some Birthday cake. Two members of our Guild were honoured that evening.

Chris Guedes is congratulated by Area Commissioner Darren Heisler on being invested as Three Rivers Historian.

Bruce Wilson, Guild Secretary and past Guildmaster receives his Canadian B-P Guild Recognition Award from Tony Wanstall as our present Guildmaster, Brent Franklin looks on. Bruce has been involved in Scouting for thirty-seven years. He spent 24 years with Vancouver Coast Region, as a Cub Leader, Scout Leader, Venture Advisor, and District President.

When he moved to Maple Ridge he saw a need and invented a job for himself as Community Relations officer of the district. For several years he wrote a column about scouting for a local paper.

In 1998 he was instrumental in helping to found the 31st BP Guild and became its first Guildmaster with six founding members. Today we have an active Guild with seventeen members and look forward to continued growth.
