"As a Director and participating member of the Adams River Salmon Society, I am extremely happy to have the opportunity to help educate the public on conservation of the natural and cultured resources of Roderick Haig-Brown Park and other B.C. parks. The Society also helps with the planning, promoting and financing of the Salute to the Sockeye campaign.

Living across from the entrance to the Roderick Haig-Brown Park makes participation in the Society even more important to me, as it gives me an opportunity to observe the sockeye salmon in their natural environment while at the same time being privy to all kinds of relevant and interesting information, most of which is posted throughout the park.

I was proud and pleased when the Society recently asked to display this photograph of one of my carvings at the Roderick Haig-Brown Park."
