Red Rock Cross
Red Rocks are a cross between a Rhode Island Red Rooster and Barred Plymouth Rock hen popular because they retain the productivity of the parent breeds and because they can be sight sexed at
hatching.
Female chicks have an all black head, whereas the males have a white patch on head. Roosters mature with barring of Barred Rocks; females are usually black with red breast feathers.

Mellow Meadow is operated as a hobby farm by Gavin Guppy and not as a commercial operation. Sales of livestock helps to support the farm. As such, availability and quantity of
breeds is limited. Every effort is made to insure birds are disease free. I have a policy of not importing any adult stock and all imported baby birds come vaccinated from a reliable hatchery. Birds
hatched on site will be started on a medicated feed and if purchased from me as chicks should be fed on medicated feed for the recommended time. Ducklings should not be given medicated
feed.

Shipping and delivery information
Mello Meadow Farm in Located in British Columbia, Canada on a smaller island "Denman Island" located a 10 minute ferry ride from Vancouver Island. Delivery can sometimes be arranged to Vancouver
Island points, but common carrier shipments would not be practical to other locations. Eggs for hatching can be shipped by Canada Post. Postage to Western Canada points is approximately $10.00 per
dozen.
