Nathan Shubert is a quirky photographer based in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. His love affair with photography dates back to his childhood years, when he would seldom leave the house without his precious Fisher Price toy camera. Although you can't match a Fisher Price in durability or brightly coloured parts, Nathan eventually made his way to a Nikon, despite the fact that they only come in silver and gray, as opposed to the wide verity of colours offered by the aforementioned Fisher Price company. However, with all due respect to said toy manufacturing company, the Nikon does offer much better optics.

Although Nathan has covered a range of subject matter, he enjoys working with the musical community. Nathan Shubert sat on the board of Victoria's Crossgrain Photographic Co-op and Xchanges Gallery, where he has spent many long days locked in the darkroom, breathing photo chemical fumes and listening to jazz. As well as taking photographs, Nathan also enjoys playing music, cycling, cooking and argyle socks.
