The guest room is located downstairs with a family room and private bathroom.  There is cable TV and lots of books to read and a number of movies to watch.

Grande Cache is located 190 kms south of Grande Prairie, Alberta and 140 kms north of Hinton, Alberta, right in the heart of the mountains on Highway 40.  Highway 40 is known as the “Bighorn Highway”, because of the numerous Bighorn Sheep you see.

If you decide to visit, bring your fishing pole, your hiking boots, your golf clubs, your rafting clothing.  Most of all, come to enjoy yourself with all the beautiful mountains around you.  Of course that means bring your camera.  It is a photographer’s paradise. There are several waterfalls, large amounts of wildlife and mountains galore.

There are all kinds and types of trails around the area.  Trails for the very beginner to the most experienced hiker.  There are atv and jeep trails.

Below is a view of town from atop Grande Mountain.  You can hike to the top, or go to the assisted of the mountain and take a 4 wheel drive vehicle to the top.

There are also trails to the top of Mt. Hamell.  Other mountains trails exist for most any hiker.  There is good fishing in streams, rivers and nearby at Grande Cache and Victor Lake.
