Hardisty 2002 Race Results

Yup, it does say Hardisty, 2002, although the race was actually held at Alliance. As far as the racing went, the kids were great. This year, they ran a new catagory, for the new younger racers. So they could experience everything that the older kids do, without having to try it on the steeper runs. Shelaine, Shanyn, and Nina were there for the girls, and Logan, Braedon, and Mitchel were running for the boys. With the 6 and under girls, Stephanie took silver, while first year racer Kristen was fourth taking her ribbon. Scotty was the gold medal winner, and Reid took silver for the boys. It was good to see Tyler and Jorgen do their best too! 7 and 8 girls saw Jill take a silver, with Justine receiving her ribbon, Kendra, Kylie and Alicia were our other racers. Oh so close, Kendra, just .53 away. Jeremy took bronze in the boys 7 and 8 with new racer Josh doing well, as did Aaron and Kent. (and yea, I am proud of Kristen and Josh, doesn't a Dad have that option) In the 9-10 group, Mackenzie took home the gold, with Ali just missing bronze by .06 seconds and taking home a ribbon. Our other girls, Cassie and Crystal were in there too. For the boys, James took gold. The 11 and 12 girls saw Stevie take a bronze. Stacey was our other girl, took her 6th place ribbon, and is improving all the time. Ryan was our only boy, and was close, but just out of the medals, taking home a ribbon also. Jill and Latisha were 1-2 in the 13 and 14 girls. Good job everyone, and thanks to all the people who make the races successful.
