February 6, 2000. This week saw the club head to Alliance for the second race of the season. Unfortunately due to illness a number of the racers scheduled to attend couldn't make it. But the ones who did make the trek found a little different race than they were used to. This was a dual slalom course on quite a steep run. Everyone did great though, and although the team didn't garner any hardware this outing, three of the racers did place for the ribbons. Way to go again Jeremy Simpson, and as, congratulations go to Stevie and MacKenzie Macrae. And to the rest of our racers, as well as the racers from the other clubs, congratulations on a terrific day!! We are looking forward to the February 26 race. The Wetaskewin club returns to Hardisty to hold their race.
