Awards

It's about the glory, not the hardware.

Winners of classes are applauded and photographed, but it's mostly about bragging rights, humble pie, and competing against your friends.  If somebody does something spectacular, we'll try to have a prize for that!  Many thanks to our sponsors who provide us with lots of prizes!

The male and female racers with the best solo scores of those who participated in 3 events will be crowned King and Queen of the River, receiving the Kalakaua and Lili'uokalani trophies.

There are also the Huli-Huli awards for the "hardest working" male and female.  "Huli" is a Hawaiian word meaning to turn, curl, tumble, rotate, to go end-over-end, etc.  Wipe-out!

All racers will be eligible for draw prizes, courtesy of our generous sponsors.
