Awards and Results

Awards

It's about the glory, not the hardware.  Beyond the bragging rights, pride and humble pie that will be earned, winners of classes may or may not be recognized.  If somebody does something spectacular, we'll try to have an award for that!  Again thanks to our sponsors who provide us with prizes!

The male and female racers with the best solo score and who participated all 3 events will be crowned King and Queen of the River, receiving the beautiful Kalakaua and Lili'uokalani trophies (criteria subject to change - in 2009 there was only 1 guy and 1 girl who did all 3 events, earning their trophies uncontested!).

There will also be huli-huli awards for the "hardest working" male and female.  "Huli" is a Hawaiian word meaning to turn, curl, tumble, rotate, to go end-over-end, etc.  Wipe-out!

All participants will be eligible for draw prizes, courtesy of our sponsors.
