As an independent,
non-governmental organization, the Institute currently receives
all of its financial support by way of external donations and
foundation grants. In 2004-05, the Institute was funded almost
entirely through the Renaissance II Liberal Education Society. In
the future, the Institute will be looking to other donors,
foundations, and partnership arrangements to fund its activities.
It is anticipated that the Institute will become a charitable organization
during the winter or spring of 2005. At that time, it will then be in a position
to issue charitable tax receipts for any donations received. Individual donors
and foundations that are interested in enriching contemporary educational
practice through the framework of a liberal education are, of course, welcome
and encouraged to contact the Executive Director:
